Orthognathic Surgery is performed to position the jaws into the correct relationship.  These procedures may improve a person's ability to chew and speak as well as to provide the best facial aestheitics.

Facial Fractures may be caused by accidents (motor vehicle. sporting) or violence.  Fractures treated by Maxillofacial Surgeons include those of the Cheekbones, Eye Socket, Jaws, Nose and Skull.

Genioplasty

Genioplasty is often performed in conjunction at the same time with Orthognathic Surgery but, can also be performed as a seperate procedure.  It is the process of repositioning the chin.
