WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR INITIAL CONSULTATION
- Your referral letter from your Dentist, Orthodontist or GP
- Your patient registration form, if you have not already returned it
- Your x-rays if you have them
- Any medical history if appropriate including a current list of medications
WHY DO I NEED AN INITIAL CONSULTATION?
This allows for our surgeons to:
- Complete an assessment and given an explanation of what will be required
- Discuss the treatment plan and options available
- Provides an opportunity for the patient's to ask questions
- Select the appropriate type of anaesthetic (local anaesthetic, general anaesthetic or IV sedation)
- Discuss the costs involved for the treatment plan
